All four (4) lakeside ensuite rooms are designated by one of the common bird species in the garden and are tastefully decorated with views of the garden’s thriving wetland habitat.Each room has a large en suite with double showers and toiletries. Tea and coffee making facilities are included in the room as well as a bar fridge stocked with complimentary drinks.

Room 1 Kookaburra Room- 1 Queen bed
Room 2 Honeyeater Room- 1 King bed or 2 single beds
Room 3 Spinebill Room- 1 King bed
Room 4 Blue Wren Room- 1 queen bed and 1 single bed (Disabled access)

Room 5 Redbrow Room- This is an extra room with 2 single beds suitable for use by families and groups only. Room only, no ensuite, outside toilet. NOTE: We do not let this room on it's own. It is only used in conjunction with one or more of the ensuite rooms.

You can enjoy this naturally peaceful location in the air conditioned/heated comfort of your room , lounge lazily on the extensive verandahs, relax in the privately enclosed garden courtyard or simply unwind in the jacuzzi.

PLEASE NOTE: GIVEN OUR FOCUS ON THE ENVIRONMENT AND THE TRANQUILITY OF OUR LOCATION,WE DO NOT HAVE TV,CD PLAYERS IN THE ROOMS. A TV IS AVAILABLE IN THE GUEST LOUNGE AND THE DINING ROOM AND GUESTS ARE WELCOME TO USE THE TELEPHONE LANDLINE IN OUR OFFICE IF NECESSARY.

You can also enjoy early morning or evening strolls along the waters edge, through the spacious gardens with vistas and panoramas of the surrounding countryside accompanied by the songsters of the Australian bush.

Full country breakfasts are included in the tariff for lakeside en suite guests and served in the dining room at a time to suit guest schedules.In season fresh produce from our large and productive garden is a specialty.

Our lakeside en suite room tariffs and inclusions

The standard one night only room rate for 2 people in one of our lakeside en suite rooms is $195 including a fully cooked breakfast and use of all facilities.

Our lakeside en suite room rates for stays of more than one night are:

2010/2011

  • 2 nights - $350 for 2 people
  • 3 nights - $450 for 2 people
  • 4 nights - $550 for 2 people
  • 5 nights - $650 for 2 people

Single accommodation is available in one of our lakeside en suite rooms with a queen bed. 1 night $160, 2 nights $260, 3 nights $360 etc

Included in the tariff:
All lakeside en suite room rates include a full country breakfast from the menu which is served in the dining room at a time to suit guests. (Simply deduct $10 per person per day if you do not require breakfast).All bedding is provided, towels, toiletries, complimentary drinks from the bar fridge, chocolates on arrival and access to all facilities listed above.
Room service is provided for stays longer than 2 days unless requested otherwise.
Note: Group rates are available on request and depend on numbers of people and length of stay.

  • Home and mobile telephone contact.
  • Email address
  • Dates required (arrival and departure)
  • Room types preferred if available (eg Kookaburra Room)
  • Special requests (disabled facilities, dietary requirements)
  • Credit card details

We endeavour to answer all email enquiries within 6 hours under normal circumstances.

Note:Reservations can only be confirmed with the provision of credit card details (name, number, expiry and verification code).Providing credit card details via email does not guarantee security of the information provided.Cancellation fees apply and are taken from the credit card details provided if applicable.

Cancellation fees

  • Less than 14 days before arrival date - 20% of total amount
  • Less than 7 days before arrival date - 50% of total amount
  • Less than 1 day before arrival date - 100% of total amount

Cancellation fees are automatically taken from the credit card details provided and may be used as a deposit for alternative future dates as available

  • With ever increasing demand,we have recently appointed a Manager for our B&B. Her name is Suna Windus, who lives on site with her husband Phil.Suna is adapting to country life from Kogarah in Sydney and her bright personality and accomplished cooking skills are already being recognised by our valued guests.
